Forzadrogs started life in April 2003 as a 17 page black and white fanzine that sold for €1 at half time in United Park. Forzadrogs was created by a few dedicated supporters who were part of the now gone DUSC (Drogheda united supporters club). Due to the amount of work involved in getting the fanzine ready and the falling numbers of contributors, the last fanzine was published in 2006 to commemorate out historic cup win.
There hadn’t been a fanzine since the days of Mick the Mod and Kick Off in the Nineties and as relations between the club and supporters were not getting better, this provided an outlet for fans to express their views that wouldn’t see the light of day in the official match programme .
Forzadrogs is now a blog and we have the aim of re-establishing that avenue for supporters to express their views without fear of being ridiculed or abused and to give fans the opportunity to discuss topics in a coherent and enjoyable manner.
We will always try to post on current club issues and will never shirk a subject.
We are non religious and non political and do not tolerate extremists from any faction.
